Ty Law was born and raised in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania — the same football factory that produced Joe Namath, Mike Ditka, Tony Dorsett, and Darrelle Revis — and attended Aliquippa High School before starring at the University of Michigan. Drafted 23rd overall by the New England Patriots in 1995, Law became one of the elite corners of the dynasty era, winning 3 Super Bowls with New England (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX). His interception return for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXXVI was the game's defining play in a 20–17 victory over the St. Louis Rams. A 5× Pro Bowl selection known for his press coverage and big-game ability, he was the cornerstone of one of the best defenses of his era. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
