Sam Cassell was selected 24th overall in the 1993 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets and won back-to-back NBA championships with the Rockets in 1994 and 1995. A quick, crafty point guard with a rare knack for big-game clutch play, Cassell also won an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008 near the end of his career, giving him three rings over 15 NBA seasons with teams including the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards, and Celtics. He averaged 14.4 points and 6.0 assists per game for his career and made the 2004 All-Star Game as a Timberwolf. Attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore.
