Randy Moss is widely considered the most physically gifted wide receiver in NFL history. Growing up in Rand, West Virginia, he attended DuPont High School in Belle, where he was a multi-sport phenom — leading the football team to back-to-back state titles, earning WV Player of the Year in football (1994) and basketball (twice), and winning the 100m and 200m state track championships as a sophomore. His high school career was cut short by off-field issues. After stints at Florida State and Marshall, Moss was drafted 21st overall in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings and immediately became a superstar, setting the then-NFL record for receiving touchdowns in a season with 23 in 2007 with the New England Patriots. He finished with 156 receiving touchdowns (2nd all-time) and 15,292 receiving yards, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018. Attended DuPont High School in Belle, West Virginia.
