Jeff George was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and starred at Warren Central High School before his college career at the University of Illinois. The strong-armed quarterback was selected first overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1990 NFL Draft, making him the first Indiana native taken with the top overall pick in modern NFL history. George played 15 NFL seasons for six franchises, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 1997 with the Oakland Raiders.
