Basketball Hall of Fame guard who averaged 20.3 points per game across 15 NBA seasons, primarily with the Detroit Pistons. Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1990. Later founded Bing Steel, a successful manufacturing company, and served as Mayor of Detroit from 2009 to 2013. Attended Spingarn High School in Washington, DC (class of 1962).
