Darrelle Revis was born and raised in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania — the most celebrated football town in the country — and attended Aliquippa High School before starring at the University of Pittsburgh. Selected 14th overall by the New York Jets in 2007, Revis became the most dominant cornerback of his generation. At his peak he operated "Revis Island" — opposing wide receivers who entered his zone simply disappeared from their team's passing game. He won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots (XLIX) and was a 7× Pro Bowl selection. His ability to single-handedly remove the opponent's top receiver from a game without help gave his team's defense a structural advantage no other corner in history matched.
