Carmelo Anthony is one of the most gifted offensive players in NBA history, selected 3rd overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. Before departing for Oak Hill Academy (Virginia) for his senior year, Anthony attended Towson Catholic High School for three years, where he was named Baltimore Catholic League Player of the Year and Baltimore County Player of the Year as a junior — averaging 23 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. He went on to a decorated career spanning nearly two decades with the Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers. A 10× NBA All-Star, 1× NBA scoring champion (2013), and 3× Olympic gold medalist (2008, 2012) and 1× Olympic bronze medalist (2004), Anthony finished his career ranked 9th all-time in NBA scoring with 28,289 points. Attended Towson Catholic High School in Towson, Maryland.
