Brian Westbrook is widely regarded as one of the most versatile running backs of the 2000s, selected in the 3rd round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. A product of DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, Westbrook was a Walter Payton Award winner at Villanova before making it to the NFL. With the Eagles, he became one of the most complete backs in the league — dangerous as a runner, receiver, and blocker. He earned 2 Pro Bowl selections (2004 and 2007) and played a central role in Philadelphia's sustained run of NFC dominance in the mid-2000s, including a Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX.
